Secrets Between Us
Secrets Between Us: An absolutely gripping psychological thriller | Valerie Keogh
3 posts | 4 read | 2 to read
How safe are your secrets? One letter a week for fifteen years. 780 identical white envelopes brimming with my sisters darkest secrets. All the intimate details of a life as different to mine as could possibly be. I read each letter slowly to make sure I understand it perfectly, one day very soon it will be a matter of life and death At the end of each letter, after signing her name, there is always one final sentence: Dont forget to burn this letter. Ill let you decide if I do A jaw-dropping psychological thriller that you will read in one sitting. If you loved dark, twisty thrillers like The Girl on The Train, The Couple Next Door and Friend Request, this unputdownable novel will have your heart racing long after youve finished reading.

This was my first time reading a book by the author I recieved a copy via Net Galley. I did pick it up a few times and stopped while other books caught my attention more. This seemed like a predictable read one that wasn‘t grabbing my attention, then one day it just really drew me in and I ended up finishing it in two days.

This isn‘t a "gripping psychological thriller." The writing-good. Plot predictable.
It's about identical twin sisters Elli and Tia. For the past 15 years, Ellie only sends letters. No visits. The facility Tia has been in closes suddenly and Ellie is basically forced to allow her sis to move in with her and her husband Will.
It was still an enjoyable, quick read that passed time well. 3/5.
I got this from Netgalley for an honest review.

A slow burner in my opinion. Horrible characters but interesting thriller. Story wise has something going and not really edge of the seat but plot twist is interesting though predictable I guess. The writing and language is good 👍🏻
