So, this is totally written for parents, not kids, and I don‘t even care. I checked it out of the library and read it myself even though my youngest is seven. 😂 Every geeky reference you can think of is covered in here. Keep reading in the comments below if you want to read my feminist rant about this book, though. Feminist rants are kinda my thing.

Krisjericho There is a ridiculous lack of diversity here, though - of the 100 pictures, FIVE represent women/girls: fairy, mutant, paranormal (the librarian in Ghostbusters), alter ego, and I think brig, which was a picture I didn‘t recognize the reference for. (edited) 5y
Krisjericho TWENTY-EIGHT (yes, I counted) are male, and that doesn‘t include ones like orc and cyborg, where, really, is there a sex or gender, but they present masculine. I didn‘t go looking for it, but how hard would it have been to make the figure for “cosplay” or “mainframe” a girl? I still liked this, but get it together, y‘all. 5y
