A glamorous NYE in. Toddler projectile-vomited all over right before bedtime. Finally got it and ourselves cleaned up. Now cookie and Star Trek. Being an adult is so glamorous 😂

AshleyHoss820 Star Trek fixes everything!! 😊 4y

Picard has always held a special place in my heart. I grew up watching next gen with my mother of Sunday nights. This show has molded me and this trailer let me just say shook me and I as in tears and had goosebumps. So excited for this crazy new journey with Picard!!

Branwen This show looks absolutely amazing. It's so exciting to know we will soon get to see Picard in action again! It's so wonderful that you have such fond memories of NextGen! 😀 Does that mean it's your favorite Trek series? And Picard your fave captain? 5y
Meaw_catlady @Branwen It is exciting!! Discovery was amazing! Different but amazing so I‘m sure they are gonna crush it! Especially with Picard in the lead!! Good questions! Actually my favorites are Voyager and Janeway!! (edited) 5y
Branwen @Meaw_catlady ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THOSE ARE MY TWO FAVORITES AS WELL! 👍💕 5y
Meaw_catlady @Branwen YES! Voyager is seriously so underrated by most! It‘s got a great plot and great characters! And Janeway is just such a strong independent female taking no shit from no man! 💕 5y

That was my feelings at the end of Star Trek: The Next Generation run. I was sorry to see it go, but I was happy for the lasting memories it gave me. For me, the best scene was the final one, when Picard joins the crew to play poker. It summed up the series perfectly, not just crewmates but family.

Branwen I still cry every time I watch that episode! 5y
Megabooks I love the poker scene, and when Picard says, “The sky‘s the limit.” It was an ending worthy of the series. Not my favorite, but probably the most satisfying. What do you think of Star Trek: Picard? 5y
RamsFan1963 @Megabooks It looks interesting, I'm curious what tragedy had him leave Star Fleet. I'm glad to hear Jonathan Frakes is directing some episodes. I hear a rumor Brent Spiner might appear as Data but I don't know anything for sure 5y

Megabooks @RamsFan1963 Wouldn‘t Data have to be B4 because they killed him off on that (crappy) last TNG movie? Maybe Data dying is what got him out of Starfleet? Frakes is a fantastic director. I like some of Burton‘s and RD McNeill from VOY‘s as well. I will always say Spiner is the finest all-around character actor in ST. 5y
RamsFan1963 @Megabooks The article said Brent Spiner was rumored to appear, could be B4 or could be a flashback to Data before the disaster that killed the TNG movie franchise. 5y
Geeklet I was 10 or so when that episode aired. I recorded it on VHS and I swear, I probably watched it 3 times a week that entire summer. I had more or less grown up with TNG. It was such a beautiful ending to the show but man, 10 year old Erica was just crushed. 5y
