But Joanna stumbles on something dark beneath the glamour: the mention of a letter James Harrison has left behind, the contents of which others have been desperate to conceal for over seventy years. As she peels back the veil of lies that has shrouded the secret, she realizes that there are other forces attempting to prevent her from discovering the truth. 4.5 🌟 I read this 600 page book in a day. Typical Lucinda Riley. She had me at the first sentence and held my attention till the last sentence . Something about her writing is just good. Joanne is a journalist who is on to the story of a lifetime, one that will possibly tear down the English monarchy,. Lots of twists and turns. Highly satusfying

I don't get sent very many books any because I'm not really reviewing much but it is still nice to get unexpected mail. And the bonus is it looks like something I would like to read!!

I found this quite the page turner, although I did think some of it was far fetched. It‘s action packed and fast paced with loads of twists and turns. It reminded me of a cross between James Bond and Mission Impossible! It involves the MI5 and there‘s the odd dodgy spy. It‘s entertaining and exciting. There are some big and bold characters, most of whom are likeable, and a few not always who they seem. A fun and enthralling read.
