This is an excellent compilation of diverse accounts in various formats & writing styles that focus on JPN-AM Internment Camp experiences. There are speeches given by politicians voting for the redress, poetry & photographic/illustrated journals from camp victims (mostly kids), as well as excerpts from memoirs & essays from both non-JPN & JPN AM who were impacted by this unconstitutional & illegal war crime that took place in WWII America.

I‘m starting this book later tonight!

This is collection of narratives from Japanese-Americans who were Internment Camp survivors & the generation following them, discussing their experiences & the aftermath of having to rebuild their lives when they finally obtained their freedom again.

In case if y‘all are wondering about the JPN-AM IC books lately, it‘s a subject I‘m passionate about & the focus of my thesis for a Masters degree.

Not something I hear much in daily conversations however one topic that we must never forget. Justice and equality should be inclusive of all ethnic backgrounds. I found this awesome list of books to read to learn more about this terrible piece of American history and I thought to share it with my Litten friends
