I think I'm calling it. I'm working today and then helping a friend move so it's not likely I'll get another book in before midnight. This year was not a great reading year. Numbers wise, it looks good but I was in a reading slump most of the year and read a lot of graphic novels and novellas just to keep reading. I had a hard time keeping focused, and most of the books weren't super satisfying. I'm hoping 2019 is better.
PSA: If you have ever thought about trying Serial Box, now is the time. Through July 31st, they are offering one series for $1.99 (normally $18.99). I got the tagged series (a delightfully diverse series about "feminism, friendship and fandom") and I'm enjoying it so far. My only gripe is that the mobile app is only for iOS, and downloading the audio files onto my phone through the website is kind of a pain.
pickSerialBox had a coupon a few weeks back for a complete season for cheap, and I picked this one. This was a celebration of women geeks of all walks of life, as well as an acknowledgement of the bullshit that we have to deal with. I really liked it! There better be a second season!!! #feministreads
