This book was really beautiful. It's an original screenplay written by an amazing author. And she was nominated for an Oscar for it. It's a love story but it's also about war and how much it sucks and that everyone suffers. I haven't seen the movie but I probably should.

Getting ready for French in February for #BookShelfBook2021 I may have a few books on my TBR that fit this category. I ❤ 🇫🇷!!! Starting with the tagged book. While Paris Slept is also definitely happening (pub date is 2/23/2021). And if I run out, there are always things on my kindle. A Zazie dans le metro reread is also calling my name.
