I ended up really liking this book. It gives a different perspective on Berlin and Wilhelm offers some sharp opinions on Sweden's distorted self-image in relation to WWII and the post-war era that I wish more writers would offer as well.

I have started reading this book about Swedish authors, actors, and artists who have lived in Berlin. Jenny Lind, August Strindberg, Zarah Leander and many others. I really like it so far but the Stockholm-centrist Swedish historical context is annoying. It's like, Don't Stockholmers ever change?
My sister sent this to me. The author is her neighbor and he signed it for me. The book is about Swedish authors, actors, and artists living in Berlin during the past 200 years. The woman in the blue hat is supposed to be Greta Garbo.
