#OldCoolBooks #day22 #Codex This codex fascinates me, it‘s a circular book measuring 9cm across with a 3cm bound spine with a beautiful cover & 3 clasps to hold it closed. Inside is a gorgeous version of The Book Of Hours, a devotional text, with stunning illuminations & script in Latin. Made in the late 15th century, it‘s thought to be a personal book, one meant to be carried to church or on long journeys. Old books are so lovely!
