pickThe cover stated heartbreakingly beautiful and this book was. Just a sweet historical romance featuring a deaf man #sonsofblackbirdmountain I will read the sequel.

Not sure I've been this excited about a book, in the first couple pages, in a long time! when I requested to review the book I had no idea it would collide with my love for ASL. Has an author ever done this before? @joannebischof is writing in a second language throughout the book... Did you know that ASL has its own grammar system? And those who speak it as their first language learn a second language, English, in order to read and write? #arc
I‘m beyond excited about this historical-fiction #BookMail. 😍 I loved The Lady and the Lionheart by this author, so I‘ve been eager to read her upcoming release.
