Listening to her speak on Cerys' show on the radio and thinking I have got to get this book! What a character.
I‘ve been asked to share the #coverreveal for Wally Funk‘s Race to Space by Sue Nelson. It‘s the first book to cover the true story of a female pilot who led the way for women in space. She was the youngest and is one of the few surviving Mercury 13 women, as well as well as being the first female aviation safety inspector. Wally Funk‘s Race for Space is being published on the 15th October by Saqi Books. Sounds pretty fascinating!
