Follow three best friends in this enchanting debut novel as they discover that friendship is stronger than curses, that trust is worth the risk, and sometimes, what youve been looking for has been under your feet the whole time. Morgan Matson meets Maggie Stiefvater in a story to make you believe in friendship, miracles, and maybe even magic. Cottonwood Hollow, Kansas, is a strange place. For the past century, every girl has been born with a special talent, like the ability to Fix any object, Heal any wound, or Find what is missing. To best friends Rome, Lux, and Mercy, their abilities often feel more like a curse. Rome may be able to Fix anything she touches, but that wont help her mom pay rent or make it any easier to confide in Lux and Mercy about whats going on at home. Luxs ability to attract any man with a smile has always meant danger. And although Mercy can make Enough of whatever is needed, even that wont help when her friendship with Rome and Lux is tested.

Rome, Lex and Mercy are girls from Cottonwood and they were either born with wonderful gifts or horrible curses depending on who you‘re talking to. The loyalty these girls show each other is beautiful. They are so tight but at the same time, they‘re so far away, each of them holding on to secrets so big they can‘t tell even each other. #magic

All this 5K training is no joke! I‘m forcing myself to stretch to read. 🙂 I‘m 130 pages deep in this book and I like the characters a lot but I‘m having a hard time picking it up to read. I want to know what happens but there‘s something missing... #ireadya

First book of the year finally finished and glad it's starting with such a bang. I loved this wonderful story about friendship and survival. Rome, Lux and Mercy are from Cottonwood Hollow, a small town with talented girls. As their lives become more complicated, the girls must learn how to lean on each other and trust that they will always have each other.

#adventrecommends Day 21 (late)
Read this one recently and didn't expect to like it as much as I did.

TNbooklover66 I read this one recently too. I was drawn to it because of the cover but it was really good. 5y

Littens, help!!! I already have so many paper ARCs I‘m excited about, to say nothing of Charles de Lint‘s Newford books taking over my heart and soul, or the reading for the Fierce Reads panel in May, BUT NOW the Warcross sequel AND a new Ella Enchanted companion, AND two eARCs I‘ve been slavering for??? WHAT IS A GIRL TO READ??? *dies from indecision/starts all the things*

Kalalalatja 😂😂😂 6y
