pickI am totally reading these out of order. I read 2 first, thanks to NetGalley, so found 1 on Audible. It‘s a distressing and addictive tale of abduction and skewed love with a wonderfully normal detective, whose own tormented past drives her to put the bad guys away. I am eager to begin book 3 in this riveting series.

This book is the first book of the DI Gina Harte series. There are 4 POV's (DI Gina Harte, Deborah, Luke and Deborah's kidnapper. The plot is action-packed and unputdownable as I had to find out what was going to happen. The ending was very satisfying and I'm now looking forward to the next book in the series. 10mo
