"I've lost my mum!"It's not too much fun being lost in the jungle, and little monkey wants his mummy. Kindly butterfly is keen to help, but they don't seem to be having much luck as the well-meaning butterfly misunderstands monkey's descriptions and leads him to all sorts of unsuitable animals! But eventually, they find ... Dad! It's just as well that he knows exactly where mum is, and she's waiting with a well-deserved cuddle.Monkey Puzzle is a clever, funny and charming tale from the unparalleled picture-book partnership of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, creators of The Gruffalo. This edition features the classic story with a stunning, redesigned cover and beautiful finish, making it a must-have addition to the bookshelves of all Donaldson and Scheffler fans - big and small! Also available with redesigned covers are The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child, Room on the Broom, The Snail and the Whale, The Smartest Giant in Town, Charlie Cook's Favourite Book, and A Squash and a Squeeze.

Pickpick

Donaldson & Scheffler are the Lennon & McCartney of children's literature. Everything they do is gold ... in my (obviously insignificant) opinion but more importantly in the opinion of my 3 year old daughter. 3 year olds are harsh critics. But my girl absolutely laps this stuff up. This one is funny and engaging with a sweet entry-level twist. Axel's quirky and idiosyncratic illustrations never fail to delight. Picture book perfection.

LitsyGetsGraphic It‘s true❤️ love their every book 📚 6y
JennAndrew We love them too! This is one of my favourites 😍. And Room on the Broom! I‘m so over the Gruffalo/ Gruffalo‘s Child but mostly because the little one (2yo) can‘t get enough and wants them over and over. I love reading to them, but OMFG, something else, please! 😂 The big one (4yo) loves this one and all the others, but little sis can be a bit of a tyrant! 😂 6y
Amanda.T Sounds great! My daughter just discovered The Gruffalo on her shelves last week and is currently obsessed. 6y
juliegumdrop I love this book. Just added it to our library‘s collection. I have used it in my storytime programs when I do a Mother‘s Day theme. The rhymes are great and the children love to anticipate what animal is coming next. 6y
juliegumdrop My edition is called Where‘s My Mom? I knew it had two titles, and this cover is a bit prettier with the authors‘ names in gold. 6y
