'Thich Nhat Hanh is a holy man...a scholar of immense intellectual capacity' Martin Luther King Learn how to bring love and compassion into an angry situation. Many of us don't know how to handle strong emotions and our distorted perceptions can make us feel angry or filled with despair. Here, 'the father of mindfulness' teaches us to look deeply at the root of our anger. To see clearly, we must calm down. He shows us how, when insight is born, we will be free. How To Fight is a pocket-sized guide to life by one of the best known Zen masters in the world, who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Read this back in April. This was the 4th #Spanishbook I've read so far. It wasn't completely new to me though because I read the English version a couple years ago, and loved it so much that I gave it away, but continued to collect more from Thich Nhat Hanh's 'How To' series. Full of simple but very helpful insights on the role that anger plays in our lives, and how we can transform it to be happier. Good for readers interested in mindfulness 😌

I loved this book a lot more than I thought I would. I picked it up out of curiosity, while looking for something short, sweet and different. What I found was a bite sized Buddhist guide on how to deal with anger and transform suffering. I read it through twice and highlighted a lot of wise quotes that I think will help me in every day situations. This books is one of many in a How To series, can't wait to read the rest! 😌💚✌🏾

A short book meant to be read over and over again. It is a great reminder to listen more, talk less, and take care of yourself. Easy enough, right?

I like to read Thich Nhat Hahn when I feel unbalanced and unfocused. I saw the title on the New NonFic shelf at the library and was even more compelled to get it because of its author. I just found out it's part of a series. You know I'm going to have to read them all now!

Gezemice Thich Nhat Hahn is amazing. Just reading a little bit is so calming. 6y
alvingregorio @Gezemice so far this one is the same. I always feel better reading reminders like this. 6y
