Was able to read an actual book with pages...lol.
This book wasn't bad, but have read better books by Sandra Brown.
The romancy stuff just isn't for me...

A brisk 30 degrees outside but it is cozy warm under my blanket inside. Exciting Friday night 🤓🧡

I couldn't really get into this book. Seemed more like a soap opera story. A lot of drama and intensity that all seems shallow and not believable. You knew how the story was going to end the entire time, and it took way too long to get there.
This book was my # 20 for #bookspinbingo though! My first to get crossed off. The #doublebookspin for the month. @TheAromaofBooks

Me: goes into Jewel-Osco (grocery store) for food items I forgot to buy.
Also Me: buys a book and makes the BF buy the food.

I always enjoy Sandra Brown‘s books, however this one was not my favorite. The characters were interesting but the twist and turns in the storyline were seriously over the top and not realistic.

1. Hard question. But when in doubt I grab Sandra Brown. Very rare in her extensive career that she has a book I do t like.
2. To kill a mockingbird
3. Between Dark is Rising by Cooper or Alexander‘s Phydian Chronicles.
4. Sci Fi space opera or thriller
5. Literary

A good story and good suspense. Struggled with the unbelievability of it. It came together at the end. Had 3 explicit sex scenes I could do without. F-words as well.

My husband got the new Sandra Brown book for my birthday! Planning to start it this weekend!

I liked this story well enough. I just thought it was long and drawn out. Full of twists and turns, just not one of my favorites. 🤨

Sandra Brown was an absolute delight! She circled the room chatting with everyone; gave a short talk answering all the questions she gets all the time and signed our books and posed for pictures. She was utterly gracious and warm and friendly. My first book signing experience has set the bar very high!

I‘m attending my first book signing event this week. Wine, Wisdom and Words with Sandra Brown. Very excited!
