White does an excellent job capturing Meg's feelings about living in the White House and her mom as president. The binge continues.

5 out of 5 stars (spoiler alert: I give all 4 books in this series 5 stars-I love it that much). The 2nd book in a series about a girl whose mother is the US president. Meg deals with an assassination attempt on a family member, and the pressures of being a teen in a difficult & high profile position. Witty, verbose characters w/snappy & sometimes sarcastic dialogue. Expertly updated to current times by the author (I grew up reading 80s editions).

GlitteryOtters @LeahBergen yes, all the books in this edition of the series were done to lookalike famous paintings. Up next we have Whistler's Mother, then the Mona Lisa. First book was Wyeth's Christina's World. 😂 8y
