My favorite story in Volume 2 of this set - "The Boy Who Drew Cats" by Lafcadio Hearn. It's been fun rereading these. #ThrowbackReadathon. My first book finished for #24in48

#24in48 Reading Nostalia

The oldest books I still own is this three volume set. They were published in 1956 and we're my older brother's before I claimed them. I've been reading them for the #ThrowbackReadathon this week. I'm starting volume 2 with breakfast. @24in48

The first volume was a pretty quick read. It was mostly nursery rhymes and poems. I had forgotten how much I liked "The Tale of Custard the Dragon" #ThrowbackReadathon @Clwojick @monalyisha

I was digging around in a closet and found these beauties from my childhood. I didn't know I still had them. Can you tell which volume has my favorite story? I guess I'm joining @Clwojick and @monalyisha in their #ThrowbackReadathon. I wonder what else I can find.

monalyisha Omg I LOVE them! Those illustrations/the cover design... so cool! 😍 6y
