Please forgive my non book related posts this weekend. I blame cabin fever. #snowpocalypse

Bambolina_81 It's so cold! This picture reminds me that I forgot to buy bread...sure we'll survive this snow though 😂 6y
Tamra 😂 I love it! 6y
JSW I about fell off my chair laughing. This is an ongoing joke between me and my BFF who lives in the south. We cannot figure out why milk and bread. Are there gonna be French toast parties??? 😂😂😂 I‘d stock up on rotisserie chicken, fruit, and doughnuts, myself. 6y

cathysaid @JSW Right?!? Milk sammiches for everyone! 6y
Captivatedbybooks Im from Philly and when they say snow we only check and make sure we have milk bread and eggs 6y
robinb Realism. Sad but true. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄🙄😜🤣 6y
BookMaven407 😂 6y
Kappadeemom I am so jealous of all my Atlanta friends! I know it‘s a pain, but it‘s nice when you only get to see it a few times a year. Valdosta just gets humidity and hurricanes 🤷‍♀️ 6y
GA_Bookworm07 @Kappadeemom me too. We rarely get anything. We r too far south. 3 hrs south of atlanta and 2.5 hrs from valdosta. 6y
AmyG Hahahahahaha! 6y
Yellowpigeon @JSW every time I stock up, it's wine and ice cream. And Mac and cheese. Functional adult right here. 😂 6y
Kappadeemom @AvidBookWorm02 where are you? 6y
[DELETED] 206653737 Hilarious! 😂 I‘ve never understood the milk and bread thing?!? 6y
LeahBergen Baha!! This gave me a good laugh!! I‘m Canadian but we had a place in Alabama for a few years. I couldn‘t believe how people lost their minds at the mere MENTION of an approaching snowflake. It was so foreign to me. 😆😆 6y
cathysaid @LeahBergen The behavior provides my Wisconsin-born husband with endless entertainment. 6y
cathysaid @bookish22 MILK SAMMICHES FOR EVERONE! 6y
cathysaid @Captivatedbybooks Which...when you think about it...makes no sense because if you lose power, you can't cook eggs or keep the milk refrigerated! 6y
cathysaid @Kappadeemom Yeah, but at least you've got tasty onions 😁. It wasn't too bad on the first day, but the mud pit now behind my house (which used to be a backyard), doesn't please me. 6y
cathysaid @Yellowpigeon Now that's snow prep done right. It makes no sense to me how the bread aisle is empty but the wine aisle isn't...poor survival planning. 6y
cathysaid @AvidBookWorm02 What @Kappadeemom said! Where are you? I'm thinking we need to plan an Atlanta #LitsyMeetUp next year! @Yellowpigeon @Bookladylinda (edited) 6y
GA_Bookworm07 @Kappadeemom georgia is all i'll say. Cuz u havent heard of my Small town 6y
Captivatedbybooks You cant cook the eggs but the milk can go outside in the snow. We‘ve lost power in the winter and packed our stuff in a cooler and right outside. The stuff was colder than if it was in the fridge. 6y
Yellowpigeon @cathysaid I'm in the ATL. West Midtown to be specific. They just built a new Posmans near me but there are a few others 6y
Kappadeemom @cathysaid lol you have Valdosta confused with Vidallia😂😂 we are on the Florida Border right on I-75. @AvidBookWorm02 - you‘d be surprised. I travel all over Georgia and Florida for my job. My daughter went to college in Cochran, which is in the middle of nowhere 😂😂 6y
Kappadeemom @Yellowpigeon what is a Posmans? A bookstore? My son just got accepted to Kennesaw State, so looks like I‘ll be spending time in ATL 6y
Yellowpigeon @Kappadeemom it's a new indie bookstore. I'm super pumped about it because we don't have a lot of indie book stores. What is he studying? 6y
Kappadeemom @Yellowpigeon He just accepted into the Dance program 6y
Bookladylinda @cathysaid I haven‘t heard of Posmans at all! Going to have to Google it. I‘m in the burbs, Duluth to be exact. 6y
GA_Bookworm07 @Kappadeemom actually cochran isnt its like 2 hrs from here 6y
GA_Bookworm07 Im further southwest. 2 hrs from bainbridge or an hr from albany. An hr from alabama 6y
