Attack on Titan 23
Attack on Titan 23 | Hajime Isayama
8 posts | 10 read
In this post-apocalyptic sci-fi story, humanity has been devastated by the bizarre, giant humanoids known as The Titans. Little is known about where they came from or why they are bent on consuming mankind. Seemingly unintelligent, they have roamed the world for years, killing everyone they see. For the past century, what's left of the human race has hidden in a giant, three-walled city.

Attack on Titan vol 23

The first time I read these chapters online, I was like “...and now we‘re jumping the shark!” After reading them again from this book my reaction is still the same...well maybe a bit less 😆 I‘m curious to see how others feel about the current direction of this series 🤔

I am always hyped for the next volume of Attack on Titan, and like always, they don't disappoint. I loved this one because of the themes on propaganda, the effects of war, and how complicated politics and war can be. In this one, we look at war from the enemy's eye, and I love how Attack on Titan addresses this perspective.
