Men, Women & Children: A Novel | Chad Kultgen
3 posts | 8 read | 1 to read
Theauthor of The Average American Male and The Lie returns with ashocking, salacious, and surprisingly subtle new novel of the average Americanfamily. Like Neil Strauss and Nick Hornby, Chad Kultgenhas the capacity to enthrall and astonish even the most ardent readers ofcontemporary literary fiction. In Men, Women, and Children, his incisivevision, unerring prose, and red-light-district imagination are at their mostambitious and surprising, as he explores the sexual pressures of junior highschool students and their parents navigating the internets shared landscape ofpornography, blogs, social networking, and its promise of opportunities, escapes, reinvented identities, and unexpected conflicts.

Taking a break from Ollie and Moritz for awhile.

Also, I've still got 2 giveaways going on if anyone from the US is interested. :)

I got sushi and new books! My day got so much better.
I'm honestly surprised I only got 4. I haven't been to Barnes and Noble in ages. The bargain section had all I needed. 🖤

JosieG I happened to be in Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago when they had about 4 bins pushed together, and everything in them was $2... and it was freshly stocked. I walked out with LITERALLY an armful, but only spent $28 or so. 6y
blondie @JosieG I'm so jealous! They've never done anythinh like that here. That's awesome though 😄 Book buying is the best. 6y
JosieG I've never seen anything like it at mine either! It was really fun! 😁 6y

I've read Average American Male, The Lie, Average American Marriage, and Men, Women and Children. I thought the books were okay despite mediocre reviews. 📚
