To celebrate the release of the mediocre Justice League movie I‘m posting a week‘s worth of truly #JLAwesome moments.

Marvel and DC crossovers are extremely rare, so in the early 2000s the JLA/Avengers 4 part miniseries was a BIG DEAL.

Here‘s the money shot from issue 4, with Wasp failing to come up with a cool battle cry for the League.

I love the little details like how DC‘s Earth is a little bigger than Marvel‘s due to more made-up cities

queerbookreader Less barf because she's a goddess to begin with so I'm much more used to seeing her do wild God-like stuff with God-like clothing and God-like speech patterns. And she already swings around swords so her using another weapon isn't as big a deal. Unlike superman who has only his fists and ass-clinging spandex to his name 6y
