monalyisha @Clwojick It seems like (based on the comments on Meg Cabot‘s post) A LOT of people got Capricorn. Which is funny, because I technically am a Capricorn & that wasn‘t my result. 😆 But also, I almost never identify with Capricorn descriptors. 5y
monalyisha Also, @Clwojick I really am so glad you‘re back! And I‘m interested in what taking such a long Litsy break felt like & what being back feels like. It‘s definitely the main reason I spend so much time on my phone. 😕 5y

Clwojick @monalyisha Honestly, I was just so overwhelmed with work that it was hard for me to find comfort in reading the way I had before. I was taking my work home with me, and felt like I was getting less and less positive on Litsy, and I just didn‘t want Litsy, which had always been such a positive place for me, be tainted by my crappy stressful job. I finally quit, and immediately signed back on Litsy, and it feels like I never left. ♥️ 5y

...And now I‘m reading about my rabbit‘s astrological identity because, of course.

(She, like me, is a cuspy baby: June 20th)

“Gemini is the master communicator of the zodiac. You folks will always get your message across - even if you have to make up your own style of speaking to do it.”

My favorite is the “I‘m pissed at you” message. When rabbits are mad, they kick their back feet as they hop away (their equivalent of giving you the finger).

monalyisha @CatLass007 January 17th, which makes me a Capricorn. But I was about a week early. If I‘d done what I was supposed to (#rulesaremeanttobebroken), I would‘ve been an Aquarius. 6y

CatLass007 I tend to speak my mind, which always gets me in trouble. I‘m trying to remember what the other characteristics of a Sagittarian are that I have, but my mind is drawing a blank. Is that a sign of being a Sagittarius or just a sign of being 55? A friend did my chart once and I have, I think, five planets in my Sun Sign. Lots of fire, Taurus Rising, Moon in Aquarius. I used to know what all that meant, but I‘ve forgotten a lot of it. 6y

monalyisha @CatLass007 My Mom knows the exact time. I always ask & then promptly forget. I know it was super early, which is surprising because I‘m not a morning person. Maybe being born was so traumatic that it put me off mornings forever. 😅 6y

Hulk thumps a lot -- my wife started sitting at her desk instead of next to me last night, for the first time since we moved here (two years). The girl-bun completely lost it! Thump, thump, thump, over and over for half an hour... 😱 6y

Reading about my astrological sign(s):

“If you‘re a Capricorn, please give yourself huge leeway to be a perfectionist, a hermit, a zealot, or a couch potato.”

I very rarely identify with descriptions of my (technically) Capricorn nature... but damned if I‘m not 3 out of 4 of these things!

1. Capricorn on the cusp of Aquarius. I was born early; if I‘d been less eager to get this party stared I would‘ve been an Aquarius, which I think suits me far better.🌊🐐

2. I led my first book club @ my new job & a kid exclaimed (totally unprompted), “This is literally paradise!”

3. “Be Frank With Me” by Julia Claiborne Johnson. At the time, the “precocious child with Asperger‘s” trend was EVERYWHERE & I needed a break.

I‘ve led many book clubs before, but never in this location; it was heartwarming to see that the kids were (more than) receptive. 😊 My supervisor had also told me that “Book clubs don‘t work. Kids don‘t come. It feels like more school.” - so it was even more sweet. Ha! In your face! ✊🏻 (edited) 6y
