The Secret's Out

Confession: I'm not reading anything right now.

I mean, I'm reading poems in the morning. And listening to Circe in the car. But the latter is just so good that I can't bear to dive into another narrative until it's done!

It feels strange. I carry a bag of books to work with me each day -- just in case (some of which I NEED to start reading for book clubs) -- but they remain untouched.

There's a Full Moon coming in 3 days. I'll blame the sky.

Annl I have books on my phone and carry my kindle in my purse and still carry a book with me. 5y

MelissaSue81 I have one book that I've started but I have been having a hard time picking it up the last couple days. And I'm listening to Oscar Wao in the car, which is really good so far (but I had NO idea it was so long!)

Craftylikefox I have been in a weird reading place lately. I have been reading a manuscript for a friend. I think I‘m just too afraid I might mix up stories if I add something else into my reading time. Enjoy Circe!!! I love it so much 🖤🖤🖤 5y

Weaponxgirl @hgrimes yea it is. My reading varies quite a lot, sometimes I‘m burning through books and other times I‘m barely picking anything up. I‘m trying to read quality over quantity this year and not worry about numbers. 5y

hgrimes @Weaponxgirl Mine too, and it largely depends on how stressful my work has been. I work in education, so suddenly my pages jump to 100 pages a day in the summer when things are tame and then quickly slump down to like 3 for a while as soon as fall rolls around pretty much every year. Soooo - soon I‘ll get to read again! 😃 5y

The pink arrow points to a passion that I don‘t think I‘ve mentioned here; finding alternative uses for useful things instead of throwing them away. Spooky. The book wearing a heart is another passion of plants/herbal studies. Scary. The blanket ( A BLANKET PEOPLE!!!) is actually teal ( I did mention this somewhere) in real life, my favorite color so it matches all! See comments

Dolly There is a Michigan button on the sock! Sometimes I need a push I‘m going to start journaling and I WILL read P&P now that I have my own copy.
