Pickpick

Got another 2 hours in and finished this one! Somewhere between a pick and a so-so, it‘s filed with some of the “father of the paranormal” Hans Holzer‘s cases. They were pretty fascinating mostly, a couple boring ones, but his writing is superb! #teamstoker #24b4monday @TheReadingMermaid

Pickpick

Published in 1963. The author, Hans Holzer was quite famous back in the day for his knowledge of the paranormal. He was hired to lecture and also contacted frequently to come to people's homes that are haunted. He usually brought a "medium" with him and they did seances which were popular at the time. He lived in NY city so there was never any lack of material. 21 cases in this book. Good read if you like true old fashioned ghost stories.

I just found this original 1963 book at the used bookstore today. The price on the cover was 50 cents. Sure wish books were still that cheap.
