Straordinario! Independent

There hasn‘t been a Tracy Chevalier book I haven‘t enjoyed so far. I loved all the unsaid parts of this story of two lives intertwining.
Just one book to go for a #bookspinbingo and it‘s only 150 pages so I‘m hopeful!

TheAromaofBooks Yay!!! Great work!!! 4y

I‘m used to a little more history & a little less chick lit in my Tracy Chevalier books. The Virgin Blue was ok.
Taken with Tobias and The Angel by Nicolas Tournier.

This book is hauntingly good. It broke my heart. Chevalier is truly a gifted writer. I thought Girl with a Pearl Earring was amazing and this is that and more.

I thought of this book for #allthesingleladies though I found it a so-so story rather than a pick. Love the cover though.

Although written before The Girl With a Pearl Earring, I read it after and found it to be the much superior book! Mystery and art connect two women through time. One of my top picks, ever. It grabs you and you hang on...Well done, Tracy Chevalier!!!

Before penning her bestselling novel Girl with a Pearl Earring, Tracy Chevalier wrote The Virgin Blue, the mesmerizing story of two women living in France 400 years apart. Let me just say that I loved, loved, LOVED this novel! I couldn't bear to put it down and so I read it practically straight through in a matter of hours.
