pickSimran is haunted by the death of her mother & is drifting through life, her grief & loneliness leaving her lost, separating her from her husband and daughter. The story centers on Simran in the present & on several different moments in the past. This beautifully written book is not always easy to read, grief & loneliness are central themes, but it is a powerful examination of family, tradition, getting lost & finding your way back home again.
