Today's author spotlight: José Donoso! He's considered one of Chile's top authors & an influential figure of the 1960s-70s Latin American literary boom. Born in Santiago, he died there in 1996 at 72. He attended Princeton, where his first English-language short stories were printed in its newspaper, and lived in Spain for some years. Bird's considered his magnum opus--written over 7 years of psychotic bouts. #AuthorPotpourri #TheMoreYouKnow
