One boy's quest for a greener world... one garden at a time. While out exploring one day, a little boy named Liam discovers a struggling garden and decides to take care of it. As time passes, the garden spreads throughout the dark, gray city, transforming it into a lush, green world. This is an enchanting tale with environmental themes and breathtaking illustrations that become more vibrant as the garden blooms. Red-headed Liam can also be spotted on every page, adding a clever seek-and-find element to this captivating picture book.

All three of these read alouds were fun or cute. I‘ll admit that How to catch a dragon was a bit young, but the kids enjoyed it anyway. The live books with rich, detailed pictures and the Curious Garden delivered. #elementary #classroombookaday #readaloud

It‘s been a stretch with this DL, Library Edition. I really miss my students, all 550+ of them. 💕However, I have made the best of the circumstances, with crafting my own corner for daily read-a-louds,& lots of planning. Sending these videos out into the void on my library‘s google drive hoping kiddos &their families are watching,& taking heart. I may be an introvert, but This situation is hard for us too- I really do miss my sweet school family.

charl08 Aw! I love this. Thank you for what you are doing. 4y

One of my favorite children's books *ever*. Beautiful illustrations, an appealing protagonist, an important message about ecology, and a wonderful ending. #childrensbooks #ecology #springequinoxreads

We went on a Storybook Walk with some friends today; so beautiful out! I got very sunburnt. 😕The book is beautiful and amazing, about a boy who lives in a smoke-filled city that's falling apart. He finds a small area of wildflowers on an old railroad and decides to take care of them and help them grow. Slowly but surely, others join his efforts, and the boy's little garden grows across the whole city. 214 books! #1000booksbeforekindergarten

This is a sweet, little picture book that shows how Mother Nature takes back those places we forget about. It also takes about The Highline in NYC.
