People look at this picture and see an old book, falling apart, filled with yellowing pages, and a spine barely holding it together. When I see this book, I see the wonderful stories my Mommom had given me years ago when she gifted me her 1967 copy of The World's Best Fairytales. When I was younger, I would read myself a new tale every night. Now that I am older, I believe it was my Mommom's gift of magical lands that gave me my love for reading.
