On the one hand, I love the anthropological bent of this collection, and the deeper dive into the world building of her novels is fascinating. On the other hand, a couple of the stories are brutal to read back to back.

I'm glad I read it, but I'm not sure I will again.

None of the books I‘m reading right now are keeping my attention for very long, so it seems like the perfect time to dive into this collection of short fiction from the late great Ursula K. Le Guin. (Loving my new mug, @Eggs ☕️🍫❤️)

A looooot of Úrsula! I'm so happy!!!

Slowly working through this. It's interesting. Not what I expected. A lot about gender roles and gender identity in a sci-fi setting. I like it but I think I was expecting it to be more like Bradbury.

A lot of introductions to short story collections don't add a whole lot or give away too much of the stories, but I really like this one. This is the first thing I've read from her but she seems to have a great sense of humor.
