This romance has a darker plot than most by this author, w/our heroine in danger of being discredited & locked up for madness. But it was fun to have a little mystery to solve on the side of the romance. A romance which I thoroughly enjoyed, btw. I liked how the characters spent time getting to know each other & enjoying each other's company. It made the story richer. It took a bit long it took to get to the ending, but yes, I enjoyed it overall.

#MarchWrapUp! You'd think I'd have read more, but it's been a really weird and stressful month. Glad I got through these. The tagged and Scammed were probably my faves.

I recently listened to both Henrietta and Molly by Marion Chesney (aka M.C. Beaton). Molly was a rare American character, which ended up sounded not so great when done by the narrator (is THAT how we sound to British people?!). Still, these are the first 2 books in a fun series!

Just finished a book on racism, still reading a book on teen opioid and heroin addiction, and reading a thriller about memory loss and mass murder, so I'm shifting gears and listening to a romance book that is pretty much the bookish equivalent of puppy snuggles.
