Thanks for the tag @wanderinglynn
@MoonWitch94 #thoughtfulthursday
📖 I just started the tagged book. Also Mexican Gothic is my audiobook I'm currently listening to.
🍁I just found out I got a promotion and 75 cents/hour raise!
📚 It drives me insane when the characters are apparently too dumb to see the obvious. Ugh
Wanna play??? @DarkMina @Librarybelle

wanderinglynn Congrats on your promotion! 🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 2y

This is a bananas YA thriller, but I was there for it! 5 students get invited to a meeting in a dangerous building and almost die when the roof collapses. But it was no accident. The teens realize that it may be their parents who are gunning for them, as 5 become 4. Lots of improbable twists, but still entertaining. Kind of glad my parents weren't into socializing with the parents of my friends... Book #3

Last year I worked very hard to get through my mountain of Edelweiss TBR. Over 4 yrs at the bookstore means my access to eArcs has been almost obscene (well, with the way I treat it!). I did great in 2020 to chip away at it, and this year I plan to try even harder, so I made a BUNCH of these so I can have a kind of #TBRBingo challenge for myself. So this is the first card, and I managed to finish the tagged book yesterday!

Crazeedi Such a good idea 3y

So good!!! The beginning is a bit confusing, but once I got into I couldn't put it down. This book was so fast paced and fun, it was almost like watching a movie. Each character was interesting and diverse, in fact I wished we had more time with their backstories. My only problem is that I wish the point of view was all four of the main characters and not just two.
This book gets 4/5

I'll accept the challenge @EchoLogical
1. Hard, but pumpkin really is a must for fall. 2. Horror!! I love to be spooked.
3. Haunted house, once again I love to be spooked and hay really isn't comfortable to sit on
4. Apple cider, I drink cocoa during Winter
5. Bonfires
6. Definitely no football, I'd much rather stay at home reading 😁

EchoLogical What? Pumpkin over apple?! How? Lol 7y
WarpedSweetness Welcome to Litsy! And I agree about the hay; I think it is too picky on the skin too. 7y

Ugh this was tough to get through.

A story about 5 students are positive their parents are trying to kill them so they run away. Told in dual POV by Saralinda and Caleb.

My biggest problem with this book besides the disjointed and stiff dialogue, is Saralinda's POV is written in first person and Caleb's is told in second. Transition between the two was hard and took me out of the story. I ended up skimming towards the end.

This one takes the prize for YA book with the most adult cover. I have a feeling it may get lost on YA shelves and not get checked out/bought. But I want to read it. It sounds interesting. #coverlove
