I really didn't like the heroine, Phoenix. She didn't like liars but lied herself. She expected everyone to just trust her blindly but didn't give the same to others. She was a brat to her parents because they didn't tell her about how bad their financial situation That's a thing parents just don't discuss with kids.

I did like the other characters and the message of the story. Her brother Harry and of course her love interest, Callum.

Trusting You and Other Lies by Nicole Williams is an enjoyable summer read written from the perspective of an almost–adult teen girl. Sweet, sometimes a little serious but never boring or too predictable... I found myself breezing through this book and enjoying every moment! If you enjoy YA, I highly recommend Trusting You and Other Lies.
Oh...and I adore the cover!

My #tbr pile just got a little heavier (virtually speaking!) with 2 new reads waiting for me on my NetGalley dash. I'm hoping to get some real reading time over the weekend!
