My grandma had the non-fiction book on S.C. serial killer, Pee Wee Gaskins. I wasn‘t allowed to read it but of course I was sneaky and did it anyway. It is the scariest and most disturbing thing I have ever read-very graphic. It hasn‘t all been confirmed by police but either way it is very unsettling. I have been and know the places he hunted, abducted and killed making it even more scary for me.

Mimi28 Yikes!! I‘m soo scared to read true crime and stuff like that. You‘re brave and that IS creepy that you know the places he was. I have a ton of triggers though so living in Chicago is the reason I watch cartoons alllll day, lol. I have a new favorite- My Little Pony, lol 4y
marleed Oh my gosh. I did the same thing when I was about 12. I pulled my first all nighter and snuck my dad‘s copy of the Exorcist to my room. It scared the bee jeebers out of me and had to act like I wasn‘t bothered at all! 4y

KT1432 I‘m addicted to true crime, but it can be very disturbing, especially when you read about something that hits so close to home! 4y

Bailedbailed

Going to have to bail on this one, at least for the time being. We shall see if I ever get the urge to continue in future. Too depraved for me right now.
This was a hard book to get a hold of and had been on my tbr list for a while. I stumbed upon a scanned copy that someone had posted on Reddit so I thought it was time to give it a go. Nope.
Maybe I'll try again one day when I am not a sensitive new mom.
