#LilithJuly Day 2: The little girl in the story knows that she “can not take a balloon inside the museum” – thus, she requested the well-meaning red-haired lady to kindly hold on to her orange balloon. Little does the lady-photographer know the trouble that she‘s in for being the balloon‘s nanny for a few hours, turning her into a veritable #BasketCase. This wordless RF picture book was very fun to read and surprisingly informational. It emulates the layout of a comic book, following a whimsical adventure through the National Gallery.

Here is a great resource to go along with this book

Ashleywwolfe OMG! I didn't read this so not sure if it's the same but there was a virtual tour of the museum .... that would be so cool to pair with this! https://www.nga.gov/exhibitions/webtours.htm (edited) 7y

This would be a wonderful book for ELL's! It is a realistic fiction books with famous US architecture. There are very few words and the author mostly tells the story through the pictures in the book. http://www.readwritethink.org/resources/resource-print.html?id=130&tab=4 #UCFLAE3414sp17
