Complete mismatch between my current read and the cafe I'm at 😂

I thought I was gonna go into another fantasy piece but I think I needed a change of pace and saw this on my Kindle. I got it as a freebie...the blurb caught my attention. Serial Killers, medieval torture devices & a sociopathic heroine sure why not 🤓

I'll probably pick it up again later but... The book's just moving too slow for me. I gotta have more action than just a brief few pages and then what feels like long sections of dialogue to set up the rest of the action... Just feels like it's taking too long to get anywhere.
