so-soIts was a collection of pretty poems, and I did enjoy them, but they just aren't something I think I would come back to. It was lovely to read how much this guy loved his wife, and his poems were easy to read. Beyond that, though, I don't think that I would read them again.

I have never really got the hang of poetry but I started reading this to my cat (Rudi) and I found it to be very pleasant if I read it slowly.
The cat wasn't very much impressed but I enjoyed it.
This book is only small but I am not rushing it.

pickThis was a return to form for this collection, last weekends little black classics disappointed slightly but there were lots of very touching moments in this poetry collection focused on Hardy after his wife died. Some beautiful poems.
