Wow! I‘m a Brubaker fan. But this was just at a whole new level of awesomeness. I tore through Vol 1 & 2, and I‘ll be looking for the next two volumes ASAP.
Dark, twisted, complicated ... everything you want in a story with a demon 😈

GrilledCheeseSamurai @MinDea Yeeeeeeah. It kind of is. I don't know if it would be his cuppa. Alot of my buds that do read comics think it's silly and, good naturedly, make fun of me. I figure a good story is a good story so I think it's them that's weird. 6y

GrilledCheeseSamurai @MinDea There's a comic out there for everyone. It's just a matter of finding it! It's a little tougher when I don't know the person but we'll figure it out! Is he interested at all in Superhero stuff or no? 6y

MinDea @GrilledCheeseSamurai he loves Marvel movies like Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy, but not sure how he feels about them in comic book form... 🤔 He tried Preacher the TV show and didn't like it. He loves TWD but tried the graphic novel and not that interested... 6y

I really felt bad for Dylan. He got a second chance at life, but had to deal with the consequences of that. I'm looking forward to reading Volume 2 which is coming out next week. It's a good series. Ed Brubaker once again did an awesome job with this story as he did with The Winter Soldier.

I'm hooked!!!! I don't want to wait for volume two, so I will most likely be running out to buy the issues. While I loved "The Fade Out" this is more my type of series.

Super violent murder scenes. But an interesting story about a conflicted and depressed grad student who survives his suicide attempt, only to find himself in servitude to a demon who requires one death a month.
