Mehso-so

I think the fact it took 35% of the book for something to happen and before then it was graphic hunting and fishing just put me off and I never really got into the story. First one in the series that‘s just been a bit meh for me.

#quicklunchtimeread
There‘s been a lot of fishing and hunting talk so far in this book. Enough to make a vegetarian queasy.

Lindy The queasiness… especially when you want to enjoy your lunch. I get it. 🥬 1y

Pickpick

Kate Shugak is a deckhand on a commercial fishing boat during the summer run of salmon. And of course she finds a dead body. How did they die, seems to be unanswerable. Kate starts asking questions and it‘s a good thing she has a hard head, literally. Can she keep her aunties out of trouble and still have some fun with Jack Morgan? It‘s complicated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pickpick

Number 8 in the Kate Shugak series set in Alaska. I think this one and the 7th Breakup were the best in the series so far. The of course to get this far in the series I liked them all.
