As the spring thaw comes bears wake up hungry but is a bear responsible for this death?

The first 2/3 of this book was absolutely hilarious to the point where I didn't really care about the mystery element.

Spring in Alaska is a very active season and Kate Shugak is right in the middle of ALL the activity. If it can happen, it happens to her. She also seems to be channeling her lately departed Emaa. Also, bears and bears and bears, oh my! Feuds, wayward spouses, shooting, falling skies (sort of), murder, this book has it all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#seriesread
Love this series- the Alaskan landscape is as much of a character as Mutt (the cross wolf) and Kate ❤️

rockpools Hold onto your hat! I think I need to start this series from the start. I‘ve read about 4 of them… in no order whatsoever …. 🫣 2y
TrishB Well you must like them if you‘ve read 4 out of order! 2y
