As I‘m becoming more invested and active in environmentalism and conscientious of what I consume and company products, I thought I‘d check out this book to find out where Patagonia stands as a clothing company. I was smitten with everything Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, had to say. This book is very informative about the nature of consumerism and what a company can (and should) do to be more sustainable. Take my money, Patagonia.

Hoopiefoot I felt the same way about this book. After I finished I went on to buy several Patagonia pieces. I was delighted to find some very gently used jackets/pullovers on eBay! The gear is all such high quality and I feel like buying used definitely supports their mission. 4y

I'm not usually one for highlighting in books, but business reads are an exception. Does anyone else have a genre that gets the bulk of your neon and notations?

With "Barbarian Days" newly acquired and waiting on the shelf, a business venture in the not-so-distant future, and my heart yearning to be back in the mountains for these warmer days, it seemed like the right time to pull this off the TBR.
