#43 of the Magic Tree House Series, Leprechaun in Late Winter by Mary Pope Osbourne would be a great book to use for an LC or even an IR. In this book, Jack and Annie travel to Ireland to help a young girl find her purpose, while running into a few issues along the way. Students love this series and would most likely love to take part in reading it. #UCFLAE3414SU19

Kendylleonard I would use UDL 6.2 for their LC as the students will develop a plan of how to keep track of reading. The ESOL strategy that would also align would be #10. When conducting an LC group, they will need to share thoughts and ideas of what has happened so far. The resource I found links this book to a math lesson for students. This would be great to implement because they could read this book with their LC‘s, and also see it cross-curriculum 5y
Kendylleonard within their math lesson. The activity is a fun graphing assignment with questions to answer! https://www.mthclassroomadventures.org/application/files/4514/8605/0873/mth-43-l... 5y
DrSpalding Your website resource is excellent! I love that children can travel the world while reading these books! Not only are they learning geography but you have tied this to a math lesson as well. They are cross curricular in nature and you now having visited Ireland, brings even more passion to this topic. Share vacation images with your students! 5y
