A remastered 2-in-1 edition of the all-time classic hit from one of Japans most beloved creators, available for the first time in a format faithful to the original work. One day, teenage martial artist Ranma Saotome went on a training mission with his father and ended up taking a dive into some cursed springs at a legendary training ground in China. Now, every time hes splashed with cold water, he changes into a girl. His father, Genma, changes into a panda! Whats a half-guy, half-girl to do? -- VIZ Media

2nd book finished for #24in48. This is really between a pick and a so-so, but knowing that I‘m in a bit of a funk, I‘ll round up. The story was kind of fun, definitely bizarre (a boy and his father visit a cursed set of springs in China, fall in, and both turn into different things when they get wet), but I didn‘t enjoy this as much as I had hoped to and probably won‘t continue the series.

This was my favorite manga series when I was in high school. I can't remember the last time I've seen these. It's bringing back so many memories. I want to buy the whole series. Seriously loving this bookstore. (Kinokuniya in NY) Largest English manga section I've ever seen. And everything is shrink wrapped so I don't need to dig for a non-dented copy!!

batsy I loved this series! I don't think I got around to reading all of the volumes 😅 7y
angrylilasian @batsy I don't think I did either! All the more reason why it's so tempting to buy all of it and start from the beginning. 😆 7y
