#readJanuary #dressesoncovers I picked up this book, brand new, from a consignment sale as a 6th birthday gift for The Big Kid (October). It's basically a giant graphic novel of the entire movie. I thought it would encourage him to read more books on his own. Little did I know, he'd be completing chapter books and whatever else he could lay his hands on by Christmas. Seeing my kids' love of books is one of my favorite parts of parenting. ❤️

obviateit @RealLifeReading I'm sure he will when he's ready! Graphic novels, comic books, level reader books, and reading Harry Potter out loud seemed to help my guy a lot. But they're all different! That's for sure! 😊 7y
