so-soI found the three storylines a bit challenging to follow and never really got the hang of them. The modern-day story also felt a bit out of place until it was hammered home without much nuance. I wasn‘t wild about the drawing style but the coloring was unique, beautiful, and well-suited to the settings. And the feel and desperation of arctic exploration definitely came through.

so-soThis was weird. The opening was painfully disjointed from the main story and it set me off on the wrong foot. I was confused and clueless through most of this story. Even now, I‘m not really sure why this was written or why it took the narrative arc(s) that it did. The dark pastel colour palette was also a weird choice.
