Valentine‘s Day plans.....we read through all the little house books last school year- everything little house we could find ..it was a lot of fun! We cooked out of the cookbook, sang out of the song book, crafts we looked at and called Sissy because she has the art degree 🤣 I have fond memories of watching the show and it was fun to share it with my son.

When you‘re traveling and your husband spots a Friends of Library book sale sign that just happens to be that day! Immediate map search and locate said library and go pop some books tags. $20 well spent.

xicanti Ooh, I taught myself how to bake using that cookbook! 6y
debthmpsn @xicanti fun! I love all things Laura Ingalls Wilder :) 6y

tpixie What a great husband!! He must be a reader too! 6y
debthmpsn @tpixie Surprisingly, he is not a reader :) However after 20+ years he accepts the fact that I‘m never going to stop being an avid reader—figures he may as well support my habit the cheap way 😂😂😂 (edited) 6y

TommieMarie74 I tried to make it with Mrs. Butterworth when I read the book as a kid. My mom was less than thrilled when she found me. 😳 6y

We are reading through the Little House books and cooking the recipes at least once a week from the cookbook if there is a recipe that references the book we are reading. I still can't believe we're in the school year already 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Lynnsoprano I didn't realize this cookbook existed. Another TBR! 7y

TheBookHippie @Lynnsoprano I rescued it from a library weed. I never knew either!!! It's very good. 7y

My Mom loved giving books for birthdays. I remember getting this book, and learning to cook like Laura and her Ma! @Liberty #Liberthday
