I got "Regenbogenkind" ("Rainbowchild") as a kid & this is how I first learned about down-syndrome. It's about a boy who'll soon have a new sibling & how he and his parents are dealing during the pregnancy with that. Parts also follow the babies "soul" & how she waits for the day of her birth. All of this may sound kitschy/esoteric, but it's done well & made the book a good primer for families in the same situation. #photoadaynov16 #disabilities
