It‘s been on my tbr shelf for ages, and so I am glad I finally got around to reading it. It‘s a whopping 500 pgs, but well worth the time.

I haven‘t seen this book mentioned a lot in my circles. Parts of it were a bit slow, and I definitely enjoyed the plot line set in the past more than the one set in the present, but overall I absolutely loved this book. There‘s some content that is a bit rough to read, but ultimately vital to the story. 5/5 ⭐️ for me.

Deep breaths. This book had me hooked from the beginning. And even though it was spooky it definitely made me want to live in a small cottage in the U.K. Sigh, I'm kinda sad it's over now.

👍🏻: This was a beautifully written, atmospheric book. 👎🏻: The premise sounded amazing but I just didn't feel that it lived up to my expectations. There were times that I wanted to put it down due to its violent & disturbing content. Finally, I'm still somewhat confused by parts of the book.
