Still on an emotional & literary high from attending the opening of the Laureate Lab yesterday at California State University Fresno along with 40 students. It is amazing to see Juan Felipe's vision in 3D, & to have students beg to stay longer. All three of our Fresno Poet Laureates were present, along with Margarita Engle, the newly appointed Young People's Poet Laureate.
